i)  h(d(h(8)))

#3.)  Solve the following system of equations
     4X + 3Y = 35    and  3X + 5Y = 40

Challenge
Given f(x + 2) = 4f(x)  (4 times f(x)).  And f(0) = 10.

What is f(2)?  What is f(4)?  What is f(10)?

Hint--  plug in 0 for both f(x+2) and 4(f(x)) to get you started.  Remember that f(0) = 10.

HW- seventh grade - Wednesday Feb 25

Seventh graders. Morning group, you must finish the task from this morning comparing the amount of #s saved on mobile phones for boys and girls.

Afternoon group. Complete the MAD task (mean absolute deviation) sheet that was handed out today. Use your notes for help and come prepared to discuss it tomorrow.

HW- algebra- Wednesday Feb 25

*** Algebra students that want pizza for after school please bring $3***

For today. Use grid paper to graph the following two inequalities.

Find 4 points that make the following equation true, and 4 points that make it false.

Y < (1/4)x + 5

First, graph the equation Y = (1/4)x + 5.

Then, choose an X-value and solve the inequality. If the inequality is true (6 < 9), the point goes in the SHADED region. If the inequality is FALSE (6 < 3), then the region is NOT shaded.

Once you know the points, shade that part of the graph.

2.) Find 4 points that make the following equation true, and 4 points that make it false. Graph the inequality on a coordinate plan.

Y > -3x + 9

Follow the same steps as before and shade the corrected region.
